LA PUNTA ZICATELA, OAXACA
JOURNAL
This Journal is for a Japanese documentary film maker so that we may have an opportunity to go to Japan.
OAXACA, MEXICO I had a rental car because Todd was visiting. We went for an afternoon surf at a beach Alex told me about. There was no one else on the beach. The conditions were fairly big and stormy. Afterwards we had a nourishing fruit drink, and a cold rinse off, at a restaurant operated by the grandmother lady that lived on the land there, and had the business for people like us who went to the beach. There aren’t many of them. She didn’t seem worried though, and the drink was good, and so was the desolation. It was so quiet. All you could hear is the ocean, a light breeze, and few birds. The sun was bright, but getting a little lower in the sky in the late afternoon. I was already old here, but it reminded of being a little kid, discovering my favorite place is the beach.
LA PUNTA ZICATELA, OAXACA
This is my impersonation of if Joni Mitchell were an ugly sea monster, filmed in the Risas Del Sol pool on a hot and humid morning when we lived in Mexico.
