NEVADA CITY, CALIFORNIA
I drove from San Francisco to Nevada City to visit Obo and Guilia in the house where they were living. They lived in the forest which was very pleasant. Obo made a nice dinner and knew how to use a bay leave to make soup which impressed me. At night I did not sleep well because a cat persisted in walking on my face.
JOURNAL
EVERY TIME WE MAKE A WORK OF ART WE PUT A DOCUMENT OF IT HERE IN THIS JOURNAL FOR A JAPANESE DOCUMENTARIAN FILM MAKER SO THEY CAN MAKE A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THIS ARTIST IN THIS WEBSITE BECAUSE THEN WE CAN GO TO JAPAN, HOPEFULLY NOT SO LATE IN LIFE THAT IS A CRUEL IRONY. MOST PEOPLE BESIDES JAPANESE PEOPLE EVER GET TO GO TO JAPAN. WE UNDERSTAND, BUT WE GENUINELY WANT TO GO TO SEE THE COUNTRY AND OUR FRIEND NOBU.

RAMON & JESSICA W/ MICHAEL MUSIKA AND BLACK DOG // PENTAX IQZOOM 90 MC 400 ISO
I have fond memories of this tour, both musically and in terms of the friendship. I remember being a neurotic, pain in the ass too, in some regrettable ways. I’ve realized subsequently the source of that behavior and have aimed to be a better person. This was a lovely day, and a great dog that I really enjoyed meeting. Dina and Jesse seem happy in the picture. We’re trying to use this website as a map, and as I write this entry, somewhere near this farm is a potential place to move. We’ll see. One thing I’m learning is to keep everything moving and the camera rolling and the bats flying.
