TWIN TEA BOXES

TWIN TEA BOXES

$100.00

I made the sides of these boxes out of black walnut repurposed from a hearth and counter top I made previously. The tops and bottoms are repurposed redwood fence boards from a fence I built. The joinery is box joints on the corners and rabbet joints for the lid and bottoms. They are roughly six inches by six inches. The finish is beeswax. The look is like something you might find in a cabin a long time ago. Don’t buy them if you like precise, “flawless” faux artifacts. Buy them if you like honest, artistic work by someone who is inspired by Japanese “wabi sabi.” Thank you.
